Blue Gum Walk (Hornsby)

July 26, 2015

We were amazed by this walk as we strolled through the suburb and straight into the bush with remarkable views and plenty of spots to have a rest. It is a 3 hour circuit amongst bushes, car trails, rocks, and some water crossings.

We first ended up in the fishpond where we walked across the hopscotch steps to find more views of this pond. Headed back on the main track we continued on to find more people completing the walk.

We mainly followed the signs that lead to the “Blue Gum Walk” but often found that the signs were lacking, as we had to use assistance from a map.

The end of our walk concluded at the train station as that is where we had parked, but there are a lot of parking spaces near the entrance of the track.
